What's everyone doing for favors, I'm having such a hard time coming up with something that has not been done a million times before. Anyone have any good ideas??

I think we're just going to make a donation, and then donate to that charity every year on our anniversary.

Re: Favors
i really dont know what to get either. i have been to lots of italian weddings where they give really expesive favors that usually consist of around the house knick knacks that dont match anything else in your house and you have no use for. So i really dont know what to get. I like the wine idea, i have to run it by my parents and see what they think.

I'm going to do some kind of goodie bag that I will have the vallets put in the car that wilk linclude a bottle of water, some snacks, a wedding newsletter, maybe a couple of other things.
I was also thinking of doing CD's to give out at the tables or lottery tickets.

Re: Favors
I have no idea. My sister recommended me giving out CD's of our wedding music. But, I don't know if we will do that.

Re: Favors
we're considering scratch off tickets (1 per person) or small bottles of olive oil (1 per couple).

Re: Favors
We are doing silver wine bottle toppers. They come in a black velvet bag and then in a white box. All I have to do is tie ribbons around them. They run anywhere between $1.50-2.50.

Re: Favors
I dunno, I can't think of anything original tho I like the ideas posted here! The scratch-offs is different, and it would be nice for guests to win. But I kinda want something engraved (so they remember where it came from), versatile (so it fits with everyone's decor), and useful (so it doesn't sit and collect dust). We might do the CD thing but we'll have to see since they're $5 ea, maybe we'll just do that for the BP and parents.

Re: Favors
For now, I think we're going to put a small box of chocolate or truffles on top of each plate, and we're going to attach by ribbon something stating that a donation has been made. My favor idea changes weekly though.
