what's your favorite wedding favor, & why? We've been to so many weddings & recv'd several dolphin bottle openers... which how many can you have. We went to my cousin's wedding last April & they gave a terracotta pot w/ soli & seeds... I have a cute lil plant that I look at every day & love.. I don't want to give plants b/c it's been done already...soI'm looking for ideas on somthing unique that people would like as much as I like our plant
I'm doing heart shaped measuring spoons because I think they are cute, different and people will get great use out of them.
we have a horse and buggy theme and FMIL who used to own a bridal shop has horse and buggy statue as well as picture frames that we will be using
We looked around the house and realized that we have one too many salt and peper shakers, oil & vinigar holder, napkin holders & bottle stoppers from all the wedding we have been to..... So ny FH and I decided that for our wedding we want something different. We found these really pretty decorative Silhouette figurines from the circle of love collection... They are a bit pricey but so worth it!
I want to give out something useful, that's all I know at this point.
FH and I have decided on having flavored loose tea in little tins. The tins will have a label with our names and date, and will come in a white organza bag. It's different, and everyone we know drinks tea.
We're making our own CDs. We're going to put our first dance song, father/daughter dance and mother/son dance and other important songs to us on it. We're buring them ourselves and then printing out labels so it should keep the costs down.
We're doing candles. Not very original, but everyone loves candles!!
We did our own CD's and the cheese board & knife. I think the cheesboard is something you dont buy for yourself but are always glad to get....

We are doing these embossed leather luggage tags. FH and I love to travel, and we figured it was something that represented us, but it was also useful.

I love all favors that are useful. Like serving dishes, espresso cups, hot plates etc.
My favorite favor was a glass clock.
For my wedding I have no idea what I am going to give out.
