I only have one friend who is engaged, and we totally different ideas about weddings, so I was hoping someone here could help me. For favors I wanted to give out boxes of Godiva chocolates, 2 pieces to each guest. I know many people just throw out the favor or never use it so I wanted to do something I know everyone will enjoy. Does this look cheap?
P.S This has been driving me nuts for months and I havent had much help from my fiance or my mother abut this.

I totally agree with a favor people will enjoy. Godiva favors are not cheap!! Don't worry about that! It's good that youhave different ideas trust me!

I don't get much help from Fh or mother at all. I try not to discuss wedding plans with my mother much, we just naturally have one of those relationships where we argue. As for FH I narrow it down and ask him choice A or choice B

def. not cheap!! i think its a great idea and people will enjoy some good chocolate!.. i went to a wedding that had no favor and i didnt even realize it! so dont worry about it lookin cheap!

That is a great idea. People usually don't use the favors. This is something that they can enjoy. This is something I would love to get because I love chocolate!!!!

They have really cute wedding cake truffles now.. and even if you do a regular sample favor pack of two its $$$$ deff. not cheap.

favors are not a must i went to a very expensive, elegant wedding this summer with no favor, i have so many that i have thrown away i wouldnt worry about it chocolate is always good for the ride home

chocolate sounds like a good idea to me.
your guests leave with a favor, and they get to enjoy it as soon as they leave (if they are anything like me)
i LOVE chocolate, just wish I wasnt allergic to it

Many people are actually doing edible favors...This way at least the guest will get use out of it...With other favors people leave behind or never use it.

i think chocolates is a great favor! i have been to weddings where they gave cute little bags of jellybeans, and that was nice too!

Yeah alot of people do the coffee favors with donuts too and they will get krispy kreme donuts and give it to them nice and hot.

I like to coffee and tea favors too , I am probably going to start using my powers of persuasion and get the Godiva. I also read about Mr.Chocolate in a magazine, and that company sounds good also.

Theres many different types of edible favors...You can even look at the alternatives...Cupcakes, candy apples, alot of people do a candy buffet and guests have bags to put them in or they have those little chinese take out boxes which are really cute. Donuts, mini pies, a favorite dessert of yours or one that is big with your family. Truffles, alot of people even do mini cheese burgers with shakes but they give it to them at the end of the night. And many, many more. Here is a pic of a candy buffet, i think its really cute
