Re: Favors
I want to do something that people won't hate and that people will use. I wanted to do a bottle of wine with a personalized label..but that is WAY TOO much money!!!
LMK if you find anything and I'll do the same for you!!

Re: Favors
OK !! I am in the same boat- we are TRYING to think of things people will USE and not throw away!
my one sister got a very cheap wine bottle stopper- about 1.25 each.. my other sis. used ice cream scoops- THAT looked VERY CUTE
so... I need a NEW idea
do you and your FH have any hobbies? ex: people do mini bottles of wine, or coffee scoops, or bottles of.. hot sauce?

Re: Favors
I did photocoasters and got them from Blue Rainbow Designs (they have some really nice stuff and they are reasonably priced). They were under $1 and came in a clear plastic box with an ivory organza ribbon on the box.

Your welcome, I also got pink stripped monogrammed makeup bags for myself & my bm's for $4 each. I ordered everything on Monday and it was all delivered on Thursday of the same week.

Re: Favors
i attended 5 weddings last year and I keep getting the same thing...letter opener, coaster, picture frame, another coaster....so many of those we don't even use it....so I decided to give out our favorite cookies to each guest from our favorite bakery.

Re: Favors
Try wrapwithus.com. They have a ton of stuff.
We're still undecided about favors as well. I want to do a donation but FH doesn't want to.

I was going to say, do a donation instead. Your guests will think it is an amazing thing and won't be disappointed that they did not go home with a favor. You can always add some chocolate and put it on each place setting so they have a little something to enjoy.

Re: Favors
We're doing a donation to a cancer organization in honor of those close to us who have survived cancer or who are battling it now.
But we are also doing chocolates in boxes because who doesn't like to take away a little something? And those who don't like chocolate can just leave them for the other guests.

Re: Favors
Try wrap withus.com (no spaces) or favor warehouse.com (no spaces)
I used both of the websites. They actually have warehouses located in Farmingdale & Syosset open to public on certain days of the week.
I had a great experience with both companies.

Re: Favors
Well, FH and I are paying for the wedding ourselves and just found out that we will have even less money than we thought we'd have! That being said, we are going with a totally economical favor that I think is fun and kind of unique... not to mention inexpensive! Scratch off lotto tickets. They will be presented in a vellum envelope, secured with a sticker with our names on it, along with a penny in each one to do the scratchin'. I figure it would be great if someone from the wedding won some money! And FH's family love scratch offs!!
