Favors

What are you guys doing as favors? I'm trying to decide what to do thats practical ... so far the ones I liked my friends have done already like the glass photo coasters or cd's .... maybe I can get some ideas from you guys!

We are more than likely doing something edible. We want to steer away from the stuff that's been given out already.

We are putting our placecards in a pewter picture frame that fits our theme. So each couple will get a frame and then each guest will also get a scented votive candle in a frosted glass jar.

personalized playing cards and either a CD or a shot glass w/ our monogram (hey you need stuff to play cards to..LOL)

We are giving each couple a set of mugs... I was thinking one chocolate color and the other ivory and some chocolate chips cookies...

(I originally was going to put biscotti (since FH is italian and Chrusciki (since I am polish) but it is going to be tooo much)

I wanted something practical that guests will actually use, and this was right up my alley b/c I'm a photography major

I'm thinking of doing photo albums too. Where did you order yours? I think it's a great idea because most guests take pics at the wedding.

I am planning on doing full size Sutter Home White Zinfandel bottles tied with organza. I figure it won't go to waste.

I've received a lot of favors from weddings in the past which I've just kind of put aside and either forgot about or ended up throwing them away.

Same here... that is, if I didn't forget to even take them with me!

We're doing a donation favor to the Susan G Komen foundation and giving out the wristbands. We'll probably use photo coasters as our place cards, so guests can take those with them as well. I think we may get gourmet chocolate covered pretzels as favors, but I'm not sure...
