wow...such GREAT ideas...I've seen so many of these threads and as the year goes on...the favors are getting more creative. My girlfriend for tomorrows wedding is doing the olive oil jars with a small package of herbs to dip bread in...they are soooo cute...I will I had a pic...ooooh...I can post one when I get one...duh! Expect to see a pic in the next couple of days. ...and my favors are salt shaker with a built in peppermill...I already bought all 75 of them (I hope I have enough) they are discontinued...This is exactly what it looks like...I took the pic in my kitchen. (They are 6 1/2 inches tall...it looks shorter in the pic)

I saw these really adorable glass olive oil containers and they were hand painted and they have like an italian look to them. I think they were soo cute and I never saw those given out at a wedding. I am considering doing that OR these 2 tea cups are painted and they come on a metal rack like one hanging on each side and they have a small cake dish with it. It's soo pretty it's a little more costly though So I have to see.
We got those at a wedding in April! They're so cute!!!

oh, we're also doing the jordan almonds wrapped in tulle. i've never seen this at a wedding before, only at showers of friends... i didnt even know it was tradition or that there was something behind it untill my FMIL told me we had to have them. i freaked out and said no way but FH bought the tulle the other day...looks like we're stuck doin it.
My mom too! I didnt realize that all Italians do the almonds. My mother was appalled that I didn't think I was going to have them!
