What are you doing for favors? and If you don't mind me asking, how much are you spending on them?
We are driving ourselves crazy trying to figure out what to do without spending crazy $$$ ..
Thanks!

Re: Favors
we're doing donations to 2 charities and attaching the donation card to lollipops. we haven't decided how much we're donating yet (prob $1-2 pp) so it will be about $1.50-2.50 pp with the lollipops

Re: Favors
we are doing individual ice cream bowls (1 per guest). We purchased them at WeddingCenterNY.com and got a great deal! We paid about $1.60 each but after purchasing everything to wrap them I estimate it to be around $2.30 per person.
We did pizza servers and cutters that I found at the Christmas Tree Shop. They were $3.99 each and then about another $1.50 for the organza bag and favor tag.
FI and I love microbrews and have been making our own beer for roughly 2 years. For the kiddos we'll be making Loganberry, a regional beverage to Upstate.
Batch 1 of 3 Labeled. We still have to tag it w/escort/thank you tags but I don't want to do it till couple days prior:
I LOVE the UPC Code I made with our wedding date!

Re: Favors
we did a pair of champagne glasses. We went to ikea and got 6 glasses for $4. Ordered our own boxes and wrappings. Everyone loved them and thought we had them professionally put together.
OMG, i LOVE LOVE LOVE the donation idea!!!! I never even thought of that! I've gone to plenty of events (weddings, sweet 16s, birthdays) and the favors are always a candle...or whatever. I end up having no idea what to do wih the favor, and sometimes i even throw it out (i'm horrible i know). But, i am absolutly in LOVE with the donation idea!!
How did you guys go about leting the guests know? I saw how you did with with the AHA (beautiful!!), but my fiance and i would prob do the ASPCA (I'm an animal nut) and something to benefit colon cancer research (his mom passed away from colon CA).
I like the idea of a little note, maybe attached to the Jordan Almonds....any other ideas?!

Re: Favors
We are making Lucky Bamboo favors! After the wedding we will be doing a donation to KIVA for the amount we spent on traditional favors.
