Favors!

What is everyone doing for favors? I don't want to spend alot of money on a table favor since I will have little favors throughout the wedding like coozies and photobooth pictures but I still want a little something. I was thinking maybe personalized soap on the tables. My mom and I like the idea but FH isn't sold on it yet...I think he wants playing cards. Here's a few soap examples:

We have a friend who does cake pops so we're going to do 'stickless' cake pops of a bride and groom (they'll look like truffles) in a small box, and then we're donating to the St. Baldrick's Foundation

P.s. i like the soap. We were considering playing cards when we were thinking about our favors. i think weddingstar has a lot of options, but even better is oriental trading wedding... i just got the catalog in the mail and there is TONS of stuff for great prices.

They are both really cute, but my only concern would be people that have allergies. I'm allergic to so many different soaps/chapsticks/skin care that I know if I got that as a favor I wouldn't take the chance and use it. Just a thought (sorry for being the 'debbie downer' lol).

What about doing something edible?

I'm buying the jars from Michaels or AC Moore when they have their 50% off coupon. Then I'm buying really colorful tea from online or teavana.

Jars are really cheap and depending on the cost of the tea, you can get everything for less than 3 bucks a pop.

The soaps are cute but I feel something like that could be a hit or miss. Not everyone likes the same scents or would actually use it or like one of the other brides said, allergies, etc. But if you like it, go for it.

I'd personally do something edible. You can't go wrong with that IMO.

I am using my photobooth as favors and will be getting the frames to go along with it. Check out photoboothframes.com That where I plan to order mines from.
