My mom and sister are throwing us an engagement party and we were wondering if we are supposed to have favors for our guests. I have only been to one before, and i don't really remember if there were favors or not.
Please let me know if you had favors at your e-party or if you attended one that did.

We gave out plastic jars with truffles from Morgan's Bay Confections. They were absolutely amazing

We gave out mrs.fields cookies wrapped in an organza bag and also favor boxes with choclate in them. For my sisters we did pink and white M&M's in green and pink satin drawstring pouches.

We had cookies made up, shaped like a calendar with our wedding date featured and candles. Just a little something.

favors aren't necessary, but it's nice to give something small out.

We had a Winter Wonderland Theme and we gave out a beautiful snowflake candle holder as our favor.

We did mini personalized bottles of wine - w/ our names and eparty date on them. Tied some ribbon around them and called it a day
Seems like people liked them - you dont need to do something really over the top but it is nice to give something out.

Yes we did. We had wine stoppers that were pear shaped and said the perfect pair. They were cute and everyone can use a wine stopper.

we gave out tic tacs that we wrapped with labels we made with our pics n dates n stuff...and then my mom made choc ring lollipops

We gave fall themed glass coasters. I think you have to thank your guests with a little something. You can always do something edible.

we gave out mini oil reed diffusers tied with a ribbon with our wedding date on them. I don't think it's necessary. A gf of mine did personalized M&Ms in little buckets all over the tables.
