All, what are you doing with your favors - one per person or one per couple?
Does it depend on what the item is? If so - why?
Thanks!

I would have been pissed. especially at that price!
Oh believe me, I was. And, one of these people still has them on a tray, all lined up in her house. Everytime I see them, I feel like picking up the tray and saying 'I believe these belong to me.' But, I don't want to start problems.
And, for DH's surprise party, I am picking out 1 woman from each table to take home a centerpiece. I'm going to give each of the 'head women' a card that says she can take it home. And, none of the 'thieves' will be getting ANYTHING from me...

We did one per couple, but we had two different favors. Either way it was one per couple. We bought too much and we had so many left over, plus a few that people left behind.

We're doing a donation and the card is displayed in a frame, so one per couple or single person. We're also doing two chocolates in a box and everyone is getting one each.

We wanted to do a donation but my mother was being a pain about it. I think a donation is a better 'favor' IMO and if I had to do it over I would do a donation.
Let's put things in perspective...
Donate to a cancer society, for example, or give people chocolate (like I did) at the wedding which they will eat and forget about...
If any of my guests got offended because they didn't walk away with a truffle or usless dust collector I'd think again about the kind of person they were.
Btw... Im not saying that giving favors is a bad idea and I mean no disrespect here. Just defending the donation concept.

That's great but that's not really the question here.

if you're doing favors, you should do one per person.

we are doing one per person, so that is how i voted, but we are doing that because of what our favor is.
we are doing irish coffee mugs, so you can't give 1 per couple.
With the Irish coffee mugs are cappuccino and biscotti, so they can eat and drink ours.

no it wasnt the question. I answered the question already in an above post. I was responding to what someone else had said earlier. Perhaps I should have quoted the response I was responding to.

Re: Favors: One per person or one per couple?
I have never heard 1 per person...I have only seen 1 per couple...for the singles 1 per 'single'
then again,,I love our favors and they are different and will be a huge hit...so I am sure couples who are not married would of loved to get one as well...
