Favors - quantity?

Are wedding favors usually given as 1 per person, or 1 per couple?

I know I've been to weddings with FH where both scenarios have happened.

It depends on the favor. I've been to weddings where each person got a luggage tag, or a candle. But I've also been to weddings where each couple got a bottle of wine.

Definitely depends on the favor. Edible always one per person, if it's something for the house or something a couple wouldn't need two of then one per couple - cappuccino sets, bottled wine, etc. If its a nicer favor one per couple should suffice.

I think it varies on the cost also. We are doing full size bottles of wine and doing 1 per couple. For the under 21 we are getting chocolates for each one.

We are doing 1 per person with our 4 truffle box.

I am doing one per couple or single person as I don't think people require 2 of the favors. If it were edible or something like a luggage tag, I'd definitely say it should be one per person.

we are doing 1 per couple on the S&P shakers and 1 per person on our edible (that we havent gotten yet)
