Ok, I was originally going to do CDs but chose to do place card frames engraved with our name and date so I can send pictures as thank yous later. I also have engraved cake boxes with rum cake ( different from my wedding cake). Are these enough or should i add something else?

i think thats fine!!...we are doing phot albums..and im attaching a small bag with red adn white conversation hearts on them that wont ruin teh album when you take them off...i think the picture idea is so nice...we were going to put a pic of us holding a thank you sign as teh first page in each album (And send out TY cards also)...cheesy? what do you think?

Not at all. I think you are more like me. I wanted a favor that is really personal and from the heart. So photos were the way to go. I was going to get these small tin buckets and fill it up with chocolates and a tag saying you give me the sweetest taboo (our song is by your side by Sade and another one of our songs may be sweetest taboo.

mayasmom I am doing the same things, we are also doing the cd favors. So I agree that our guests are getting away like fat rats. Not to mention that the DJ is doing giveaways.

OMG thats so funny. The cds are going to be the give aways lol at our wedding. This way I didnt have to stress over having enough. Sonds nice :)

There is no requirement that says how much or how little you should do. Anything you do will be fine.

as of now favors are not something we are going to do at all and i don't think anyone will even notice or care...

I would do the frames but without your name and date. To be honest - there are probably a lot of people who know you well enough to come to the wedding but not well enough to display your wedding photo in their homes (work colleagues, parent's friends) I like the idea of sending the photo - but we just put it in our album rather than display photos of my dad's second cousin's daughter.

The majority of people coming are family and a few close friends . If they care not to display the photo its probably a good sign they are not worth me paying so much for a plate for them to come to my wedding. Just a thought. Which is why my coworkers are all but 7 on my list :)
