So we are getting married in December and want to do ornaments as favors. We were going to do personalized ornaments with our name and date but that ends up being almost $5 an ornament which is a lot for 230 people. FH pointed out that who would actually put up an ornament with our names on it besides our family...so we ended up finding these at Costco. They are our colors and as of right now, they have enough. It ends up being $20 a box and the total is half the amount we would spend on personalized. FMIL found a website where we could get personalized boxes for cheap to put the ornament in. Anyway, what do you think of these ornaments? I think they are very pretty and am happy with the price, but do you think it looks like they were purchased at Costco? The only thing is we have to decide now before they run out.....

I made ornaments for a friends shower, it was in Nov and he proposed with an ornament for Christmas so it worked out. I made them in the color of the BM dresses, we put a ribbon around the top and then I put a saying on the box lid so people knew why they were getting the ornament. Maybe you could do something similar with your names and the date.
ETA: making them was time consuming but very inexpensive, with box, tissue paper, ribbon etc it was about $2 each. So worth it though because everyone loved it and they loved having the ornament for their trees. I have other pics if you want me to send them through FM.
I like the ornaments idea, I would suggest maybe a personalized ribbon that has a love saying on it? No names or dates for the wedding? If there is only one person that does not celebrate Christmas get them one thing different?

How about a nice quote, like 'Live, laugh, love,' 'all you need is love,' 'Love never fails,' or going along with the religious/Christmas theme, my favorite quote from the Bible, which I doubt would fit, 'Love is patient, love is kind.
