I was going to do Valentines Day, but I liked the thought of Leap Year even better. We are going to do something special every fours years for our aniversary.

February 6- at the Fox Hollow Yes, we should start a thread. WE should make a list for those in February. I actually wanted November but because it was so close to the holidays we decided on February. I am very happy with our choice. We should do daily prayers for light snow if any. LOL

Hi I am a Feb bride and new to the board. I am getting married on Feb 13th 2004 at the Fox Hollow. I think it would be cool if it snowed about an inch the night before, but that's it! No Blizzards....ugh!

Have any of you bought your bridal gowns yet? I haven't started looking. I don't have a clue what I want. I've looked in the bridal magazines and there are no winter weddings picts. For those of you who have already been bridal shopping, did they have winter gowns in the salons?

I got mine already. It comes with the matching shawl. I didn't like the way long sleeves looked on me. I would really love to get a bridal coat to wear over the dress in and out of the church and reception. The store I am getting my dress from is going to attach hooks and eyes to the shawl and dress so that my shoulders and my upper arms will be covered for the ceremony. I am going to get long gloves too. Once your'e inside it will probably be warm, plus I figure that with all the dancing and running around at the reception I shouldn't be too cold.
hello , I am a February Bride. I am getting married on Valentine's Day! There were many reasons for picking the winter but I am still getting used to the idea. It is growing on me. I am praying for no blizzards, I am thinking we had too much snow this past year! What do you guys think?

Well February seemed like a nice month for us...we were originally going to pick 2/14 but the minimum for our room would have been more so we picked 2/7. I hope for a little bit of snowflakes :) No blizzards!!
I went for my dress in March...there were lots of dresses....I went for one w/spaghetti straps but I also bought a huge shawl.
