February wedding

Hi! getting married the sat. after valentine's day... Trying to come up with different ideas on how to make it a 'valentine's /winter wedding. So far my BM's dresses are cranberry, my dress is white... my bouquet is red roses theirs will be white w/a touch of red.

I need ideas for the centerpieces. SHould i stick with my red/white theme? or throw in some pinks. Do you gals have pics of red/white bouquets/centerpieces???
HELP!>!!

I would stick with the reds... red everywhere!

I would have loved to have a valentines day wedding but bc of work, i couldn't!

Have you thought about having your bo-k in the shape of a heart? I've seen this and it's beautiful! I like the red and white. I, personally, wouldn't add pink because I like the real contrast between red and white.

thans Prncsrachael. I love that contrast too... but i have some soon to be relatives who are very traditional and i think their hearts would stop to see the contrast!

I PERSONALLY LOVE it. maybe i will stick with it. GREAT CAKE BRIDE 2005 By the way!!!! Thanks for the pics keep 'em coming!

I thinmk you could do so much with a valentines/ romance wedding

it can be soo classy and stylish

Okay, scrolling down a bit ....
All of your cakes are gorgeous. Did you ladies come up with those designs yourself or was it a combo of your bakery and florist?

I would definitley throw in some pinks to break it up a little. I still think valentine's day when I see pink.

Congrats!! We're getting married on the same day!! We just viewed our sample centerpieces. We're doing red only for the centerpieces. My girls are carrying white bouquets and wearing wine colored dresses and I'm carrying red roses.

hi acangel, i am also getting married on feb 17th 2006 and we decided to go with a valentines theme with a mix of red and white roses and i was also thinking about putting pink in there, because I have seen it in pictures and it looks amazing. We went to Pedestals and they gave us a quote which was around $2800 which to me was outrageous. She also told us that good roses are going to be very hard to get and they will be more expensive. Do you mind me asking if your florist told you that and what kind of quote you recieved
