So something we didn't budget for (completely slipped my mind) is that we are expected to feed the vendors who will be there all night. We have an 8 member band and 2 photogs.
Are we expected to offer them the full menu selections that we're giving all of the other guests, or is there a special menu that we can have for them? Is that tacky?
ETA -- I'm not saying they shouldn't be fed -- I'm happy to feed them I just don't know how I feel about offering them the same menu choices as everyone else.

my contract says that i HAVE to feed the vendors which is no problem but check yours too. A great way to save a couple of bucks & still feed your vendors is to feed them during your cocktail hour. Most venues will not charge you & the vendors can eat like kings

Talk to your vendors because I know a friend who had a DJ who requested only CH food so she didnt have to pay for their dinner.

We get a discounted rate for our vendors from the RH, one price for house vendors another a little bit higher for non-house vendors, but I have no idea what they get, I assume they get the same meals that are being served to the guests but I never thought about it...
our venue offers half price meals for the vendors...

Did you speak to the band about food? My friend just had a band and they told her not to feed them. My band also mentioned that we didnt need to -- and the RH will usually feed them anyway

a lot of rh's give you the option to offer them the CH food and for them to choose from menu during dinner.... i know my RH doesnt reallywant vendors on the same line with guests for CH so I have to give them the menu options which is fine with me, theyre usually 1/2 once your min is met
