Feel so bad for FH

One of the main reasons why Jerry and I decided on a semi- big wedding instead of a destination wedding is because he was never married and we decided he should have the experience with his family. Well his family is small only his mom and aunt, uncle, 3 cousins and theirs spouses and his moms 3 cousins. Well it looks like 2 of his moms cousins, his aunt and uncle and 1 of his cousins wont be making it- Oh yeah- looks like his mom wont be able to either. I do understand it all has to do will major illnesses- but I really feel bad for Jerry. My side will have 5 tables of just family and he will barely have 1. The most heartbreaking part is that his mom might not be there.

I just feel horrible for him

Awwww.. that's soooo sad. I'm so sorry. I hope his mom will be able to make it at least.

They wont be getting better. His 2 aunts are in nursing home - His uncle has parkinsons and his aunt wont go without him- Maybe his cousin will be able to come- her baby is ill and we are hoping that he will get better. and his mom, well after she went into cardiac arrest after a seizure 1 1/2 yrs ago she has been slowly deteriorating in front of us. She can barely walk or even sit up straight anymore.

Aww--I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sure his mom and the rest of his family feels happy that he is getting married even if they can't be there. I know most parents worry that their grown children will be alone. I know that was my mothers biggest fear. She has been sick off and on since I was 16 years old. She was so afraid that I would be alone and she wouldn't be here. The point that I'm trying to make is that his family will be with him even if they are not physically there.

Aw poor guy, that's so sad.
