I'm so sorry!
What I learned from the wedding is that you REALLY get to see who your friends are. It was actually kind of nice to eliminate a few who were dead-beat energy-sucking friends after the fact. They showed their true colors. Some aquaintance type friends really stepped up to the plate, and have become some of my BEST friends since the wedding.
Hang in there - this is NORMAL!

i agree. i can't even count on my 2 hands how many times she's seen him in concert
thats ridiculous Gail....i remember your last post about her MAYBE not being able to.....Im so sorry you have to deal with that..some people are so self centered..my BF a9nd BM) hasnt returned my calls in months and ditched my b-day completely...i was so hurt..but i realized the people that ARE there for me and care.....and thats what you have to do...

I know exactly how you feel - a friend of mine who I've known since grade school wrote in an email 'I'm going to try & make your wedding'. I'm thinking 'TRY???' She used the excuse that her hand surgery she had awhile back is creeping up on her. I know she is going to be moving to Florida, but I also know that the house she is having built is not ready & I doubt will be ready by my wedding. I just feel it's kind of rude of her not to go. But I guess I will await her reply & see from there. People are so clueless!!!
