feeling SOOOO overwhelmed!!!!!!!

so i just passed my 6 month mark - so my wedding is UNDER 6 months away & i've been feeling SO confident that i have almost everything done, but i just sat down to make a TBD list & i'm SOOOO overwhelmed right now!!!!!!!!!!!! after seeing all the things i need to do in black and white i think i might throw up!

anyone else feel this way?? maybe i shouldnt have made this huge list

you still have time, believe me its all the little things that add up, but just do one thing at a time!

You know what...just take a deep breath because I can guarantee you that everything that needs to get done, will get done. It's good that you wrote everything out on a list so you can prioritize things and start knocking things out. It may seem like a lot right now but you still have 6 months to work on the list....and somehow, someway...it will get done.

I feel this way all the time. Just work on making sure all your big things are knocked off the list one at a time (Rh, ceremony location, dj/band, florist and limo).

The other details, just get to them as you can, b/c its sad to say, but most of the time the guests at the wedding won't notice if they aren't taken care of or not.

you have so much time! I know it doesn't feel like you do - but you really do!!! The time around the holidays is going to fly - but once January comes - the time will slow down to normal pace again.

Try to tackle your list....one thing every day.

I know exactly how you feel, I had booked almost all major vendors within 2 months of getting engaged, and sat pretty for a few months. Then, when the 6 month mark hit, I started to get a little freaked out - figuring out all the little details that I said 'oh, I have so much time to get it done'... and of course $!

That is why, today, I got 90% of my BM gifts ordered. Just had to sit down, make decisions, and do it. And I feel a lot better knowing that's off my list. One day at a time!

I was just bitching to Doug's Girl (Carol) about this. Her wedding is two weeks before mine and she's got so much done.

I feel you, though I do have almost a year to go...

Try to relax and just get a little done here and there, you'll be fine! Keep making lists! It will get done!

Schedule makeup & hair trials
Call my singers
Church programs (?)
Alterations
Attach blusher to headpiece
Veils
Pick readers/readings & send list to church
Send out invites
Book rest of honeymoon
Finalize plane tickets!!!!
Call church to get new certificate for FH
Pick out tuxes
Finish BM gifts
Poker paraphernalia/candy for boy table
I DO letters


Meet with bakery
Get vendors to sign church contract
Meet with BM @ RH to pick out food/napkins
Fill out rest of RH paperwork
Meet with DJ
Extend groomsman limos by ½ hour
Mail photographer list of pics to be taken
Pay florist
Tell florist about corsages

Seriously, you are in much, much better shape than I am and my wedding is 3 weeks earlier than yours. You'll be fine. I think registering is probably the highest priority item on there. My list would include everything you have on there, and limos and florist and precana and ordering invitations!. You are in great shape!

You still have 6 months... you'll get it done! If you need any help with anything you can always ask your bridesmaids.... that's what we're here for!! :)
