Fellow TP Brides- engagement pic question

Alright I am all set to take my e-pics in a little more then a week up in Huntington. TP is suggesting that I wear Jeans or pants since he does a lot of poses sitting but I really wanted to wear a cute white dress lace dress with 3/4 sleeves.

Did anyone wear a dress and if they did were you comfortable with the poses he put you in?

TIA this is driving me nuts!

I had my epics with him a couple of weeks ago and I would definitely suggest wearing pants if youre not completely set on the dress. At least for me, in a lot of the poses he put us in, I wouldn't have felt as comfortable if I wasn't wearing jeans.

Got a sneak of some of the pics on th camera screen though and I'm so excited for them! He is really talented and does some pretty unique shots, so you should be excited for it!

I am SO excited and I have very high expectations bc I know what TP can do! Where did you do them? I am doing them in Huntington village. I am a little nervous about it because we won't be in a nature environment and I like the pics with the sun setting. But I also like the urban feel of huntington and think TP will make them awesome.

I'm not SET on a dress but I wanted to make them more elegant and I think the dress will look so cute.

This is EXACTLY why I asked early about the wardrobe change! So many of his poses require pants, but I wanted to wear a dress also. That's a big reason why FH and I changed when we wanted to do our e-pics to October lol

I say wear what you want. You're going to have these pics forever and probably use them on STDs and stuff. There are e-pics on his website where the girls are in skirts and dresses and I think those pics came out great!

Btw - did TP recommend a spot for you to take your pics or did you tell him where to go?

Originally I had a few places in mind that he was more than willing to go to but none of them ended up working out.

He suggested the spot and I realized this is probably better because hell know exactly where to go and how to shoot in a place where he's had experience. I would suggest if you aren't dead set on a particular place, take one of his suggestions.

We did our E-pics with TP in Times Square...and I was thinking of a dress or skirt to, but he's 100% right....just too much to worry about with a skirt. We did sitting pics or ones with my leg wrapped around my FH and i know my butt would have been ALLLL out there, lol.
One of my favorite shots is when we stoped traffic and a basically layed down on the ground with my head in FH's lap...its gritty and beautiful and so NYC!
Our e-pics came out amazing, and so happy i went with jeans!

Im not so worried about being comfy...beauty is pain right? I just thought a cute dress would look so much nicer. But I KNOW TP does a lot of different poses where I will possibly be on the ground, and I don't want to miss them because I am wearing a dress.

Everyone thinks I am putting WAY too much thought into this but I think its important that they look fab!

Not so much comfy as in the clothes being comfy....more about being comfy in the poses that look good on camera....he might tell you to sit on the ground and move your legs a certain way....you don't want to have a surprise kooka shot in your pics....(like I did ...lol)

you guys are totally right....ughhh now im stressing about what shirt, shoes, pants, to wear.....
IDK why this gives me such anxiety! I didnt even have this much trouble picking out my wedding dress!

Don't stress it too much. Have fun with it. You are in good hands with TP... your pics will come out amazing!
