I just wanted to share with all you ladies that my FFIL is the absolute best in the whole world! My real dad has alzhemier's! and he was not ever there for me since i was 5. But anyway, I asked my FFIL to give me away on father's day and he cried so much! I cant begin to tell you how much I love him he is so special to me! He goes everywhere with me he came with me to pick my dress..worked late all week so he would not have to work sat! came with me for the limos, the reception, the dj, the photographer, the video guy! you name it hes there for me! He is just the best. Its so awesome having a dad! I missed all those years but I am so happy to have one now! He was watching his wedding video with my FMIL last night and he was crying saying how i am going to walk her down...i am going to cry sooo much!! (he is my FI step dad never had kids and married into a 3 boy family! he never thought in his life he would have this opportunity to walk a daughter down the aisle & i never thought i would have a dad to walk me! so its just so nice!) Anyway, I picked the song by Faith Hill..There you'll be to dance with him! That sound good?? Let me know~!! P.S. See the pin i gave him on our engagement party!! he was so happy to wear it!!

I feel so similar about my in-laws. That is wonderful. My own parents don't care at all about my wedding and honestly just don't have the time or energy or desire to deal with anything wedding related. This is as good as it gets. I feel like it is wonderful with them.

You are lucky. I went to a photographer- the daughter's father was the groom's best man in the wedding. O to have inlaws like you. We are jealous.

That is SO beautiful! I think we hear too often the stories of the B2B's who can't stand the FIL's, we need more stories like that. You are both blessed to be in each others lives!

thank you ladies for all the nice things you said! I just had to post, i really love my in laws very much and just an update...FFIl had knee surgery yesterday and everything went well! my FMIL and I took care of him all day. He is at home recovering for 6 weeks! thanks for the thoughts!
