My dislike of my FFIL tends to cloud my judgment... so I'll ask you impartial brides.
FFIL asked if we could play Spanish music at our wedding. (His new wife is Columbian) so that she could have some music to dance to.
We are not Spanish, I am not a big fan of Spanish music as it's not my taste... so I don't want to play ANY of it. If it was FFILs wedding, I'd be all about Spanish music, but Juistin and I aren't big fans.
Are we wrong not to play it?

No it's your wedding. My family is giving is crap b/c we said no electric slide, macarena etc. Just stay strong and stick to it. Why can't she dance with the regular music with everyone else?

I don't think you need to play anything for him. But if it will solve some aggrevation for you, then its not worth it to argue.

Ummm...no. Your wedding...You don't want Spanish music, then there is no Spanish music. If she doesn't like the music then she doesn't have to dance. That's my little bridezilla inside me talking. She comes out once in awhile.
