So we went on Sunday with our flower girls and we picked out their dresses SO CUTE! Now my question is when should we order them? they are 3 and 4 years old so they grow so fast.. We still have like 8 months till the wedding... I didnt want to order them too early and then they dont fit..We were told that FG dresses can take upto 12 weeks to come in...so we would still have plantly of time I just hope they dont discontinue the dress we love!

Yeah I would order closer to the date. Just check with the store if the dress will be available closer to the date. I'm planning on taking my FG to get measured for her dress at the end of next month.

I would ask the shop because FG dresses also have a large inseam to help with growing kids. My FG is older (7) so she won't grow as miuch as a 3 yr old, but the inseam on her dress allows for it to be taken out a whole size.

3 months before? WHOA MAMA! I haven't even thought about this! I was going to get it a month before lol. My FG's are going to be almost 7 and almost 6 by the time, so I'm waiting as close as possible as they're still growing a lot.

ask them what they think. usualy 3-4 months. but make sure it doesnt interferre with chinese new yr or any chinese holidays when the factories shut down.

Thanks Hotness!!! they said it could be 12 weeks to get it in so Im gonna wait alittle, I just dont wanna be left with no time at all in case they need alterations or anything

12 weeks! Yikes! I was hoping to go looking in March! I don't want to go until I can get a swatch of my dress, which will be early March when it comes in!

I would order at the 5 month mark. The boutique should be able to tell you what size you will need given that they will grow etc. Depending on the designer they can take 12 weeks and if you do it too close they will charge you a rush order. We ordered ours at the end of December for our May wedding - 5 months.
