FH and I both sick.. UPDATED***

So FH has been sick since last wednesday with a fever and stomach pains. He goes to the dr on thursday and he said Brian has a bacterial infection (We thought from White Castle). But after taking the 3 medications Brian was feeling much better by Sunday. Sunday night, i start feeling sick, I had a fever and chills. I go into work monday to be sent home and sleep all day. Today Brian wakes up to go to work and while trying to find a parking spot gets shooting pains in his stomach, worse than last week. He calls the dr and he took Mylanta which helped a little. SO since i'm still sick, I also go to the Dr. with Brian. I have gastroentrinitis but when the dr was pressing down on my tummy it hurt, so I have to go for a sonogram tomorrow of my stomach and Brian has to go for a catscan of his stomach because he may have appendicitis. Now I'm not worried about myself. I'm worried about Brian. He has no health insurance and what if he does have it and needs surgery right away. Of course, he'd get it, but it will take everything we have in savings. Does anyone know where he can get fast free insurance, so it may make it easier on us. Sorry this was really long

*** UPDATE ***

Me: Went for the sonogram of my tummy and have to wait another 2 days to find out anything.

Brian: Had the catscan done. Later on he started getting sharper pains. Called his dr. and we went to the hospital. The hospital couldnt get in touch with the place we went to for the first catscan so the hospital had to do another one. Then they forget to put the IV in.. so brian needed a third catscan. So after 8 hrs of being at the hospital last night, Brian does not have appendicitis. Its good news, but Brian is stressing because we still have no idea whats wrong with him and he knows his job is pis sed at him. We have all documentation from his dr.'s stating why he's been out of work, so they can't fire him right?

Im glad its not apendicitits!! I would call his job and make sure everything is ok .....if its a new job they dont really have to give a reason ifits in what ever they designate a probationary period ...if its after that most places are more careful about things,,,,,

Oh, Wow. i hope yuo both feel better. And, NO, they can't fire him if he has medical documentation. They are messes up for even being PO'd. It's not like the guy just has the sniffles.

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling a little better. My stomach just feels uncomfy, like if i breathe out (to blow out my belly, it feels like there is too much pressure). Brian hasnt called yet, so still have to see how he's feeling this morning. (Because I'm back to work today)
