FH and I picked up our rings! (with pics)

Mine is not exactly what I wanted, but I still like it. I really am unsure of what to do, because he put in lab created emeralds instead of natural ones and I think the color is too light. I don't like the way they catch the light.

I think it's very pretty and very unique, but IMO, if you are not 100% happy, you might wanna have it fixed to the way you want it. You will have this ring forever and you don't wanna be thinking to yourself every time you look at it.

I agree also- i think its very pretty but you will have it for the rest of your life so if you are having doubts about it now.....had you asked the jeweler for the lab created emeralds?

No, I wasn't specific when I asked for emeralds and to tell you the truth, I didn't think about it until today when I saw the ring. I just had a vision in my mind. I did bring him pics of what I wanted though.

I'm definitely calling him back today. My other issue is that we talked about adding filigree to the ring and he only used millgrain (etching). Now he is telling me he can't add the filigree. The ring was custom made and I don't want him to scrap the whole ring, but I do want what I want!

looks pretty in the picture- but it is hard to tell without seeing it in person. I doubt anyone would know they are lab created- however, if you want real and real is what you paid for, then give it back and tell them to put in real ones!

This is my engagement ring. It has filigree (those little cut outs) under the stone.

very beautiful, and very different, i love it.. but if your not happy w/ the stones have them change them, you will be wearing that band for the rest of your life, so get it the way you want.............
