He comes over to hang out with me, and instead he is hanging out with my mother!!
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they get along, but sometimes it is really $#@%&*** annoying!

It could definitely be worse. My mother seriously dislikes my sister's husband. Not only don't they 'hang out' he doesn't even come in the house to say hello when my sister stops by to pick something up.
I'm a little annoyed tonight though, because he has been sick as a dog for well over a week, and this is the first time I've seen him for more than an hour (not that I've seen him since he's been hanging with mom), AND he didn't even notice I left the room when I made the original post!!
Now he just thinks I left the room to smoke.

I know sometimes you want alone time but be grateful they get along. wish I could have a the type of relationship with my FMIL that FH has with my mom. It isn't happening.

Yeah I can see how that can be annoying. Why not talk to him and her (alone each) about it. I'm sure your mother will understand that he's your FI and that you want to be with him and I'm sure he'll realise that maybe he needs to pay more attention to you. After all we are all adults here.

Darlene, just get his attention!!! When he's away from your mom, flash him or something!!!
Could always be worse!!! Before I moved in with Andrew, when he would come over my house, the first thing he would do is grab the remote, crash on my futon, and turn on ESPN!!!!

lol, whenever my FH sees my parents (they live upstate) they end up talking and ganging up on me and I am like, ok..why don't you guys just hang out and I will leave! lol... it's annoying, yes, but def. better than the alternative!
