FH gave me...(long) *UPDATE*
the biggest scare today!
I decided instead of going to the gym I would go outside and shovel for my mom. (we live the apartment downstairs in the house) It was all icy so I got the regular shovel and spent a good bit of time breaking up all the ice.
FH came outside to help after he finished breakfast. We were out there about a half hour together and he has to stop. Ok no problem.
I go to let the dog back in the house. I get to the bottom of the steps and I see FH passing out! He went down like a ton of bricks. He felt 'woozy' so he went and leaned up against the garage door. As I turned to look at him he went down.
I yelled for my mom and she got my neighbor (a nurse -- thank goodness!) FH was out for a good 30 seconds. I'm so glad when I got to him his eyes were open and moving (although he still wasn't conscious) but I knew he was breathing and it was just a spell. (this actually happened once before)
So we spent almost 5 hours in South Nassau for them to tell us he's fine and he should follow up with his own Doc.
What a day. I was so calm while everything was going on but while we were in the ER waiting for the Doc I'm laying my head on FH and he's in the bed hooked up to the monitors he put our wedding song on the iPod. I lost it. What would I do if I lost him?? I'm glad I don't have to think about that.
I think I need a drink!

ETA: We went to FH's Doctor appointment and he has a good plan of action. I'm much happier with what he is doing than what the hospital did.
Right now FH is on a heart monitor for 24 hours. They'll read it tomorrow but do not expect to find anything.
They are going to send him for a CT of his head and then they'll go from there.
They did find some fluid in his knee (why? b/c they acutally took and xray!) so they gave him a shot to get rid of it (he broke a blood vessel when he fell).
Thank you all so much for your care and concern. It means so much to me and FH to know you guys were out there thinking of us. *big hugs to you all*
