I went to Centereach bridal suite today... Found 2 Maggie dresses I LOVE- Rhianna Royale and Alannah. When I put on the Rhianna Royale I almost died. I didn't even want to take it off! So different than what I was originally looking for (mermaid/tight/sexy, sparkly & lacy!!!) . I showed a bunch of dresses I tried on to the FH to get his opinion. He hated the Rhianna Royal. What's a girl to do?
that is a tought one - I personally would have never showed him because when he would have seen you walking down the aisle he would have thought you looked beautiful

I definitely agree with the other girls....guys have no sense of fashion when it comes to girl things, just showing them a picture of something won't do anything, but when they actually see you wearing it, it's totally different. He would've totally loved you in it, especially it being a mermaid style that shows most of your figure, what guy wouldn't like that?

how much do you value his opinion? i showed my fh all the dresses i tried on, bc i wanted to make sure he liked it when i walked down the aisle..honestly i was getting frustrated and considered bringing him dress shopping with me obviously im not very traditional in this aspect..
i guess its up to you though..sorry this prob doesnt help any

I agree. Girls can look at things in pictures and imagine it on and what it looks like. Guys look at pictures and if they see one thing they don't like, they don't like the whole thing. Once he sees you walking down the aisle with it, it's gonna be a completely different story.
Seeing you in it is different than looking at pictures online. Don't ask him what he thinks anymore lol

Most guys are not into ballgowns...it's a male thing.
No more showing him dresses! He will be happy with whatever you choose.
Of course get some input from him, but truly if he looks at a pic, he's only looking at the dress, not you IN the dress. Which is completely different.

honestly, go for it! if you LOVE the dress then get it! you already showed it to him so its pointless to lecture you. i show FH the pics when i try them on too... he went with me once. did he see it on you or a pic from a catalog?

Don't worry about what FH thinks. I wore the Rhianna Royale. I got lots of compliments. It's a beautiful and different dress. Very romantic! Wear it!

I showed FH a bunch of dresses that I considered and the one that I really like he didn't like. I just kept looking because FH is into fashion and he personally have to match everything he wears down to his undergarments so me taking advice from his is b/c I know e knows his stuff. Most guys however don't really care so anything you wear even i its a white shirt you will still be the most beautiful bride in his eyes.....hth

honestly he prob. won't even remember the picture the day of the wedding and he sees you in it. guys a idiots anyway when it comes to fashion I would not even worry about it.
