FH is finally home from deployment w/Pics

I just got back from FH's submarine base. Yay!!! he's finally home from deployment. It was so weird, right before the submarine came up my stomach was in knots. I was so nervous. FH was on duty so he was one of the last ones off the sub. The wait was killing me but was sooooo worth it. Mind you FH has been up working for almost 24 hours so he's very tired in the pics.

Is your FI affected by those base closings in CT??? I was thinking of you when I saw that on the news

His base was one of the bases on the list under consideration for closing. Thankfully it was one of the ones spared. I am happy about that because there are not too many submarine bases and the rest are no where near NY.

His sub is going in for a major overhaul so he will be on land for at least a year. He will be relocating from Connecticut to New Hampshire sometime in Feb. while the sub is being overhauled.
