Blaaaaahhh, that's how I feel. I took FH to the ER at 11 this morning for severe stomach pains. Turns out he has pneumonia and diverticulitis, which is like a pouch or pocket that's formed in his intestine and gets filled with food if you don't know. He finally got a bed at 9:30, it's just been such a long day and such a terrible feeling to not be able to help your partner when he's in so much pain. Hopefully he can be out after the weekend, it's just crazy. I have a test tomorrow, haven't even studied and we're supposed to be leaving on vacation March 24. What a day. So weird to be going to sleep without him. I just want him to be better.

Oh, no! I hope he feels better soon. I know exactly how you feel. My FH has been in and out of the hospital as well because of his asthma. It's the worst when you can't do anything to make the pain go away.

Wow, I hope he feels better!! My dad has diverticulitis, and it can be very painful.

oh no!!! I hope he feels better....my dad had a severe diverticulitis attack in 2009....he now suffers from acute diverticulitis and gets a flare up about once a year...
after he is out, FM me if you need any good dietary guidelines. I have some from when my dad was initially diagnosed and the changes in his diet helped significantly!!!

I'm so sorry to hear this! I hope he feels better soon. I had to rush FH to the hospital with a dislocated shoulder once and it was awful. I'm sending hugs and prayers your way!
aw that sucks! I get a ton of diverticulitis patients for follow up in the office! One woman said it was worse than child birth! Hope he gets out soon and is up to par for your vacation!!
Which hospital is he in? I wonder if he's with any of my docs??

Ahhh oh no! I hope he feels better & has a speedy recovery! I agree - seeing FH in a hospital bed is one of the worst feelings. I had to rush to the hospital after I got a call saying FH got electric shocked at a construction site. UGH. The docs know what's wrong with your FH and I'm sure he'll be good as new in no time!! Good luck on your test
