I stuck my foot in my mouth big time. I said something I shouldn't have that is making him feel really bad about himself. He left my house last night without dinner and then called and said he wouldn't be able to talk to me that I should just go to sleep and not wait up for his call. I have been a reall sh** lately. I don't know why. But last night I realized that I better turn over a new leaf. We've had our fights don't get me wrong. But I cannot honestly think of one thing that he has ever done to make me feel bad or this upset!!!! I really hurt him bad and I am so sad right now. I couldn't sleep last night and I have this big lump in my throat. I hope he calls me soon. Thanks for listening and sorry it was so long!

Oh, sorry to hear this. However, just wait until he call he is just trying to calm down. The first thing I would do when he calls is give him a very sincere apology. Things will work out. Good luck!!!!

It will be ok. I like the fact that he called and told you that you can go to bed until he can blow off some steam. This shows how much he really cares.
I often say things that hurts his feelings and it is hard. But you are willing to try which is great!

Sometimes we say things that we instantly regret....but it jus teaches us to be careful next time..He knows you love him..He's feelings are just a little hurt right now and he needs to blow off some steam...Just be sincere when you talk..and apologize from your heart..and tell him how you really feel...and things will get better..
These are just things everyone goes through and it ends up making your relationship more solid!!!

I think you should call him and tell him how sorry you are. We all at times get stressed ans say things that we done mean. It will all be ok. We are all here if you need us.

first of all....
at least you recognize that you were being a 'sh*t'. you can go to FH and admit it to him and say everything that you just said here on the forum...to him directly. cause i'm sure he needs to hear it.
nobody is perfect...we all make mistakes. i'm sure your FH realizes this also. it will all be okay!

sometimes we say things that we don't mean. You Fh probably was really upset, and did not want to bring up the subject at the time. He will come around when he has had time to calm down. I would call him and apologize to him though. Things will work out, I promise!

im sorry but at least you realized you messed upa nd at least he left and called you and said to just go to bed, its better then screaming at each other...itll be ok, just give it time and be proud of yourself that you are admitting your faults, many people have a hard time doing just that!

I think i have that same bad habit of just trying to hit below the belt.... its very hurtful to the other person so I'm really working n it and the fact that you realize you have this problem is a good first step to turning yourself around. Sincerly apologize and work on it.

.. I have been such a b1tch to my man lately... and its really starting to upset him... I aplogized today for everything I have done lately... and he really accepted my apology and everything is getting better...

sometimes we get in bad moods and we take it out on the people who are the closest to us. Alot of times I am guilty of being a complete jerk to my fh. Give him the space that he wants for a bit so he can cool down, then call and apologize
