No matter how many times I want to strangle him for something he did or didn't do, he always does something completely out of the blue to make me forget about every bad thing that he's ever done. He's at a concert tonight and I won't see him at all today, but he came home before the concert and called me when he left. I was on my way home from work and he started singing, 'happy wedding to us,' because we're finally starting our real planning, and told me to look on the dining room table when I got home because he left me a present.
I walked in the door and the first thing I noticed was the smell...soooooo nice. And then I saw this...
The thing is humongous! I think it was actually a sample centerpiece that he got from a florist, because he told me he didn't spend a fortune on them (because he knows I'd kill him), and the flowers are all completely open, so it was probably going to wind up in the trash fairly soon. I no longer have room to eat at my table, but who cares?

It looks big! It probably really lights up your whole room! Actually the idea of getting centerpeices from a florist is really good!

Awwww, he just called me twice from the concert so that I could hear it, although I couldn't hear sh*t. We went last night and it was just sort of so so, but tonight is much better, and of course he's with his brother and not me. So he feels bad and wants to share it with me. He has so redeemed himself of all the hell he's put me through with trying to plan this!

Thats very sweet! They do the cutest things some times don't they? FH left me a note on the table last night b/c he wanted to let me know again how beautiful I looked as a bridesmaid Friday night.
