Tim wants to name our future daughter Daisy Draskin....so she can have a set of DD's....I was like, she doesn't need help in the DD department (I had a breast reduction)

FH thinks I come up with the strangest names. I told him yesterday I want to name our son Harper. I think it is adorable. He freaked out. I also want to name our daughter Lani (pronounced lah - knee) he said no. I said how about alana. She said yes (I was shorten it to Lani- shh don't tell him!)

Its alright my cousin wanted to name his daughter pocahontas doherthy so he can give her the nickname 'polka dot'......haha he didn't win that battle....i wonder why....

I always thought about anynick names before I named by daughter's..people are cruel to their children with crazy azz names
Though I do like unique and unusal names myself
Oh and I know 2 people named January..not heard them being called Jan though

This thread is awesome. FH wants to name one of our kids Clapton. Yes, after Eric. I think the kids will tease him and say he has The Clap! I love Aurora. One of my favorite names for a girl. He's not too keen on it.

My younger sisters name is Summer.....growing up everyoe would be like 'So whats your name....Winter' Its a cool name, definitely memorable unlike what my FH wants to name our future daughter.....TESS!

Brooklyn is getting pretty popular now.. I have seen a girl's name spelled Brook Lynn (first and middle name) Summer is way too over done January?????? where did he get that LOL

This thread is too funny. At least you have a choice of the first name for your child, there are some children who are stuck with awkward last names. I had a girl in my high school whose last name was BUTT. Poor girl . . .
