So I had a falling out with FMIL a few months back and, as a result, I avoid discussion of the wedding AT ALL COSTS. I asked FH if he could talk to his mother about the RD because she wants to have at a place that FH and I dont want to have it (location is bad and food isn't too great either). So I tell FH that the RD needs to be booked soon and I told him the place I have in mind. He says to me, 'good. You talk to her about it'....ERRGGG Falling out or not, I should not have to initiate the converstaion about the RD! So FRUSTRATING!!!

i dont know too much about any thing but it seems to me unless you are having a huge RD, i think you have some time

The way things have been going with my FMIL I think that when it comes time for our RD we will just send her an invite and that will be it, lol

Let me just add I understand how frustrating it is when your FH does not stand by you in times like these... I know how it feels and just be strong, remember the reasons you love your guy

Ok everything is fine. I just needed to let off some steam. Fh agreed to talk to his mother about the RD but I know Im going to have to remind him about 100 times to do it. I know we have time, but October is a big month for weddings and I called the place we would like to have it at and they said they are starting to take reservations.
