Does anyone know where I can get a nice suit for my FH for the wedding day without speding a fortune? (Im not sure if this is going to make a difference or not but FH is very broad and all the suit jackets he's ever bought is too tight and pulls in the back)

Are you looking to buy or rent? What size is he? DH buys a lot of his suits and what not at Casual Male, my dh is a big guy, very very broad shoulders, so its hard to find things that fit him, they have a decent selection and prices are pretty good

My FH purchased a suit from SYMS in hauppauge. It cost him about $125 with alterations. They have suits available in all from $99 and up. Also if you go to syms.com you can register and I think they give you a coupon.

My DH and his GM, RB's and the fathers got their suits at a place called Advance Formal Wear. It's located in Rockville Centre on Sunrise Hwy. Their prices are really reasonable and FH will get his suit for FREE!!!!! and the fathers are about 1/2 off the price of the GM suits!!!! They're really great over there, and the guys that work there, they're so funny and down to earth and extremely helpful.

there is a place called Karako's that has really cheap suits.. i am not sure if they do Tuxedos thought but I am pretty sure they do. they have a lot of variety and you can get them altered there and everything.

syms (just northeast of exit 53 on the LIE)... FH got a designer tux and shirt together for $200!!! They also have great prices for suits.

Can you get to the city? My groom got his suit at Century 21, and it was amazing -he had been looking at the same suit in the desingers flagship store for 1,000 and found it at Century 21 for 250, a steel!
