I think most of the FH's are this way (not that that makes you feel any better).

I am planning from MA and when we go down to NY I pretty much book up the whole weekend with wedding things and FH complains...

I have flipped out on him many times...your FH needs to be made aware of the stress you are under! I say....when he pulls this crap again, yell at him, no holds barred!

Eventually he will get the message!

You are preaching to the choir!! I just had a meltdown last night. I've spent my entire winter break (haven't even cleaned in two weeks or graded the huge pile of papers I have) doing stuff for the wedding, all day, every day, and he is lying on the couch
His mom hasn't found a dress yet or booked a rehearsal dinner place.

This might help. I made a list last night of five things for him to do with deadlines. Some take literallly 5 seconds. The biggest one was the rehearsal dinner.

I also put everything on the calendar on the fridge. Would that help?

Sometimes I just don't think men fully understand everything involved. In 4 months I have to continue working full-time, going to school part-time, finish planning a wedding and move!! Some days I'm fine, some days I'm completely overwhelmed. We all do understand!
