fh wants to send an email to his office extending everyone

an invitation to attend the ceremony.

he has worked at his firm for 8 years, and we couldn't invite some without all, so we opted not to invite anyone other than his partners and a few close friends.

any suggestions on how to word this email?

I'll be doing the same thing. Basically, I'm going to state 'I would like to welcome you all to attend name of bride/groom's wedding ceremony at time and place.' I wasn't going to be too elaborate with details, just a nice way of saying their invited to share in our special day at our ceremony.
