FH Wedding Present!?

What are you all getting your future husbands as a wedding present.
I have ALWAYS wanted to get him a puppy, but I know that I can't because of where we are living. I was thinking of getting him a flat screen tv, but I am not sure. I want it to be really special. I need help!!

I keep going back and forth about this.

First I wanted to get him a really fancy SLR camera, but it's like $5k and that's insane.

Then I was thinking of getting him a kindle but he doesn't read that much and probably wouldn't use it.

So now I'm thinking about a grill. We don't have one at his place and I think he'd really enjoy it. Plus it'll be the middle of the summer and we're going to be living in NC, so he'll get tons of use out of it.

I think a grill it'll be. Much more reasonable and something he'll really enjoy!

Sorry im crashing but i was just thinking about this last night. FH wants a 50 inch flat screen so bad, but there is a part of me that i guess dont think thats personal or extra special, so im tossed about buying.(We already have 2 smaller flater screens between us so then that means, we will have 3 tv which we dont need now) I know he would love a movado watch also and i found one that he would like and i think this is more personal, but i truely dont think he will wear that much, so im not sure if its a waste, but i think it would be nice if i had it sent to him on the day of the wedding. I have already set up a surprise during the reception for FH as his gift and i spent about $400 on this so i dont want to go to crazy. We had gotten the groomsmen oakley sunglasses, and at the time i asked FH if he wanted and he said no, However just the other day he said i wish i bought myself oakleys.I was thinking of picking up the sunglasses for him since that would be meaningful since we got for groomsmen he can always remember. Sorry this is so long but my other thought is since FH is a big hockey and mets fan maybe get him a partial pack of tickets. I hope this is helpful.

My FH wants a playstation 3!! i would almost rather him wanting a 50' flat screen tv! that way i can get some use out of it too! lol!!

We decided that we werent doing gifts, but then we did something smaller.. I bought him a $200- watch and he got me a second wedding band.

He wants a formal watch so I am going the traditional route. I considered getting a nice camera or a small video camera for the honeymoon.

By the way FH's birthday is less then 2 weeks before and he is getting a lot for that, so I am sticking to just the watch.

I'm buying FH burberry cuff links to match the watch I bought him for his birthday. Also, I'm going to give him an album of Bpics, bottle of cologne and then get him a groomsman cake for the day of our wedding in a 3d shape of lamborghini since he loves those cars. You can always get his cuff links and have them engraved.

We are thinking of doing the same. FH and I are both paying for the whole wedding and I'd rather just have a beautiful honeymoon and spend all the money we want there (going on a cruise so drinks are not included lol).... we can do bigger gifts come Christmas or whatever.

FYI - I dont know how many are left but Ruelala.com has a movado boutique that started yeasterday and there are some crazy good prices for Movados!!!!!

I was debating on a watch or a camera. I ended up buying the Nikon D90 camera. It does pics and video and it was the best choice because he loves it. He brought it on the HM and we have some amazing pics that our little point and shoot would never have captured.

I have no clue! I got him an engagement gift which was a very nice Movado watch. Now I guess I have to get him a wedding gift too...and not that I have to, I want to, I just don't know what. He has everything! The gals on here are saying flat screens and I'm sitting here writing this and looking at one. Except maybe a new table saw and I can't pick that out!

My FH LOVES a musician named Janice Ian. I know he has always been coveting hand written lyrics by her.

So I am getting him the hand written lyrics and framin it. Its not something he would get for himself, but something he has ALWAYS wanted.

I'm taking FH on a man shopping trip I'm setting aside a specific amount of money and taking him to the hardware store and letting him pick out what he wants. I really wanted to physically give him something the day of the wedding, but he owns a nice watch and cufflinks and he said he wanted something practical he can use.

For our marriage counseling, the pastor based the counseling on us having a 'tool belt' with different 'tools' for our marriage. He made us describe the tool belt we were wearing to lighten the mood, and jokingly FH said he had a big leather one with studs... so guess what I found? I was going to wrap it for him and put some things in the pockets.

FH's 30th bday is while we are on our HM, so I've got to do something fabulous. He already has a ginormous flat screen tv and all the video game systems a boy could dream about. I got him a digital camera last year for his bday, and his mom already got him a gorgeous watch. So I'm stumped. He needs an electric razor, but that's not exactly 30th bday/wedding gift material...
