FH wont let me go shopping!

I soooo wanna go to the mall! I know we need to save for the wedding, but whats $20?

because it is never 20.00 - my husband does the same thing.

I just don't tell him

I usually dont tell either, but we are both home tonight so I tried to entice him to go by saying he could by a playstation game..it didnt work

too late, I already mentioned it, he's on to me...we live together , he'll see me leave and come back...leave emptyhanded, come back full handed

Everything I buy has to be cash. I can't even shop online. He works at Fleet and looks into my account (lol). I've cut down, but still. We're always laughing about that. I'm such a cheater. If I have to buy a gift or something, I always buy myself something.

so instead of shopping, Im adding things to my registry....( I swear I'll have 900 things but next year!)

My FH would never tell me what to buy or not buy! Of course, both of us are money-responsible and saving for a wedding -- it's not like I'm walking around with a $500 handbag or anything. But I work just like he does, and if I wanna treat myself to something, you can sure as he!! believe I'm gonna do it

i try a different approach.. I never say NO.. but when she bought a 30 dollar hair thing (I forget what it was called.. it was ridiculous to buy that) I give her the weird vibe treatment.

And I never say I'm angry.,. I say... 'Honey, I'm not angry.. I'm disappointed'.. LOL

Evil.. I know....... though she has caught on.. to a degree...

Of course he couldnt stop me if he tried but he sure would be mad, BUT I do tell him to watch what he buys as well, and the fact that we are not big 'savers' could be a large part of the bigger picture here...

OctGroom, but what about when you buy your playstation games or whatever your 'vice' is? I don't understand why the man has to approve the budget? I will admit, I spent a semi-large sum of money on a pair of shoes while on vacation, which I bought with my OWN money. FH didn't care, why should he? I'm not trying to be controversial or offend... just honestly wondering!! OF COURSE couple should discuss large purchases, investments, etc. But a $30 hair clip? Come on!... I know, I know, all of it adds up...
