FH's birthday is 3 days before our wedding ... i'm not 100% happy about that, but we had no other choice since we had to have an August wedding (because of OOT family) and the 15th was the only available date at the RH.
anyone else have their birthdays (or their FH's) be right around their wedding dates? does it bother you a little too?

My FH's bday is the 1st and we're getting married the 4th.... I dont know if it bothers me. I honestly never thought about it until now. I've really been worrying about my younger brothers bday which is ON the wedding day.

My birthday is 2 weeks after my wedding and the only reason it bothers me now is that we didn't wait a week to go on HM, so I could spend my birthday away.

My birthday is the 4th and we're getting married on the 27th - it doesn't really bother me too much. The bach. party is going to be the 7th so I'm looking at it as my b-day/bach. party weekend :)

We will be on our honeymoon for FH's 30th and he is really excited about it! We'll be in Paris and so I am planning a romantic dinner for that night. I also bought us a day tour to Normandy as his gift since he is a total WWII buff. I think it will definitely make it a memorable birthday!

i guess i'm just thinking about the future ... i love buying gifts for people, but I don't really like giving 'joint' gifts (for bday AND wedding anniversary) ... and there's only so much i could spend at a time!
i guess we'll figure it out eventually

ahh ok, I get what you're saying!! Since FH's bday is pretty close to Xmas, I've gotten used to buying him a bday gift, completely separate from Xmas. I guess now I need to get used to buying a bday, anniversary and xmas gift. I'm gonna be pretty broke!

My birthday is the week before the wedding. It doesn't bother me at all...I actually think it will be great...and entire month that my FH gets to spoils me!!

Since we had the option, this is why our wedding is in Sept... cause EVERYONE's birthday in our family, AND our existing anniversary, are before June. So I purposely didn't want to get married inthe spring where everyone's important dates are clusterfcked.

We had the same problem. We knew we wanted the wedding in August, but Fh's birthday is on the 5th. He didn't want the wedding to be too close to his birthday (he likes to celebrate the whole week), so anything that was offered to us for that weekend was a no go. Luckily they had what we wanted towards the end of the month, but it falls on my period and that really sux.
I honestly don't think it's terrible that it's 3 days apart. At least it's not the day before, after or of.

My bday was the day after our wedding. Last year no one even said Happy Bday but it didnt even bother me. I picked the day and this way DH will never forget our anniversary.
I also get one bigger present.

sounds good to me ... though it probably won't sound as good to him!
maybe we'll just take yearly weekend trips for our anniverary and that'll count as our gift to each other
