FH's birthday and our wedding

FH's birthday is 3 days before our wedding ... i'm not 100% happy about that, but we had no other choice since we had to have an August wedding (because of OOT family) and the 15th was the only available date at the RH.

anyone else have their birthdays (or their FH's) be right around their wedding dates? does it bother you a little too?

FHs bday is 5/11, we are getting married 5/30. When we were originally thinking about when to get married he said he wanted to get married in May bc that was his birthday month (of which I responded, yeah, and what about my birthday month?!) Anywho, we eventually settled on a holiday weekend (Mem Day) which just happened to be in May because we didn't want more than a 1.5 yr engagement.

So, no, to answer your question, now it doesnt bother me (it only did originally with his first response about getting married in May)

My b-day is 2 days before the wedding - my 29th b-day. So our first wedding anniversary and my 30th b-day fall w/in 2 days of eachother

FH is trying to say I will only get one gift and i know that isn't happening.

My grandma got married on her b-day so it doesn't bother me at all and I always wanted a memorial day weekend wedding. When we booked i actually wanted the 29th (which would have been 3 days after my b-day) but that date was already taken.. not that 3 vs 2 days is that big of a difference.
