FH's EX Tried to Wreck My Wedding Night!! [UPDATED!]
Background:
So, as some of you girls know, this is my FH's second marriage. My first. FH's ex-biotch has custody of his 3 kids. Ex-biotch thinks she did nothing to contribute to the demise of their marriage- that it was all FH's fault. She was extremely abusive to FH physically and emotionally thruout their 7 year marriage. But she still thinks that she was Mother/Wife of the Year.
Anyway, on about June 10th, FH calls up ex-biotch to inform her that I will be attending their 6 year old son's Kindergarten Graduation on June 13th. I am very fortunate that FH's children and I get along sooo well and I love them to death, so we thought that he would be excited and happy to see me there with his Daddy.
FH thought it would be nice to give ex-biotch the 'heads up' since she and I have never officially met, and he didn't want there to be a scene. Well, she went on and on about how I am a twat and that she didn't think it was the right time for us to meet, blah, blah, blah. She called him about 3 times yelling that I wasn't welcome and that he should rethink his decision to have me attend.
FH told me the story and I decided it was in his son's, his and my best interest if I did not go. I figured that this crazy biotch would not think twice to try and get me in trouble at work, which is very easy to do! [I am a police officer and if anyone makes an allegation, a big investigation is done, regardless if there is truth to the allegation!] Also, FH's son is very sensitive and I didn't want him to be upset on his day if his nasty mother couldn't keep it together! This all happened on June 10.
Today, my Mom calls a certain hotel to book her rooms to stay for my wedding [she lives in GA] and inquires about mine and FH's room. The woman told her that there were no such reservation!! My Mom called and told me this, so I called the hotel back to find out what was going on. I explained that I booked the room in Sept. 2006 since I wanted a good rate and it was my HM night. She looks up the reservation via the 2 confirmation numbers that I have and guess what? Someone changed it! It could only be, that nasty C-UNT changed the name on the reservation!! The woman that I spoke to said that a call was made on JUNE 11th and that the name was changed!! The last 4 digits of the credit card # match, the 2 confirmation #s match, the rate- it all matches!! The original reservation was in FH's name only.
That F#$%^ C-UNT tried to ruin my Wedding Night!! Luckily, I am totally anal and would have brought the confirmation printout with me to verify it, but wonder if I forgot it? Or wonder if they wouldn't let us stay there even with it?!! I would have been in my dress on my wedding night standing at the Reservation Counter for God knows how long!!
The moral of this story is: if your FH has an EX-Biotch too [whether it be GF, Wife or whatever] MAKE SURE YOU CONFIRM YOUR VENDORS!! You never know what info she knows about your day!! Whew! I feel so much better now that I've vented!! Sorry so long girls!!
ETA- We are getting married this Sept. 14th. Let her try and F#$% up anything on that day and she is getting locked up!
UPDATE: I got home from work at about 12:30am and FH was sleeping. At about 2am, he woke up and I told him what I found out while I was at work. Needless to say, he was PISSED!! We decided that he was not going to say anything to the ex-biotch that we know what she tried to do, since we wouldn't want her to do something else, since her plan failed!!
FH woke up this morning and called all of the vendors! He even called my dress shop and my BMs dress shop!! Some of the vendors were totally shoked that someone would try and do this, others told FH that it has happened before. Everyone made notations on our accounts so there would be no canceling of their services!
I am also going to give a picture of the troll to my DOC [Christine Viola- who is fabulous btw!] so that if the ex-biotch chooses to actually come to the church and/or RH, she will be escorted off of the premises. I really do not think she would embarrass herself and show up, but hey, ya never know!!
