FH's gift

Re: FH's gift

Of course it means no other time off during the year (it's going to be rough from Jan - Nov)! We just decided that we're never going to get the chance to do it again, so we might as well. We've already given both our jobs plenty of notice about it so it shouldn't be a problem.

Plus, we both want to try for HM baby so this will probably be our last big vacation for a looooooooong time!

This is actually really really bad...

My father received a silver money clip from Tiffany's as an award/reward from his job. Normally his company brands the items, but this was just a standard, unbranded clip. No markings whatsoever. He already has a money clip, so he gave it to me so I could give it to FH for an anniversary or xmas present.

But, since I'm so cheap, I'm going to get it engraved with our wedding date and give it to him as the wedding present, as a nice gesture of you make it, I decide how much of it you keep

Once again, you're freaking hysterical. LOVE THIS!!!!!

Re: FH's gift

FH has been asking me for a formal watch for years and I kept putting it off because its a traditional engagement gift (and I wasn't shelling out big bucks on jewelry for him until I got mine.) But since we closed on our house just weeks after our e-party I decided it was a bad time to drain that money out of my bank account. So I think that will now be his wedding present and I will probably spend a little more then I would have for the e-party. That and I think I am surprising him with a helicopter tour in Hawaii.
