I just got a Chihuahua. She's fantastic! 13 weeks old and holds her bladder all night and SLEEPS through the night too! She's very smart- already knows how to fetch and she'll be about 4 pounds.
I got her from a breeder on the lower east side...

How little is little? I have an 11 lb yorkie (big guy of litter not fat). No shedding and lots of love!

I have a bichon frise and they are the best! So sweet and friendly! Shitzus are adorable too as well as a yorkie! I wish I could have a whole bunch of pups!!

the 'Toto' dog (cairn terrier??) is supposedly hypo allergenic and doesn't shed.

A shih tzu--my little guy is so adorable...He is like 1/2 human...and he does not shed! But I spend $$ at the groomers to keep him clean, cut and handsome!

My dad has a Cairn.. he's a great dog and no shedding..
I'm not partial to the Shitz b/c of the grooming prices.. so much money!
Plus i wouldn't be able to carry a Shitz every day to work.
Pugs are cute, but when they get older they really smell bad- at least that's my experience.... a few of my friends have pugs that are older and they STINK

Her name is Freedom and she's growing up so quickly!!! Very energetic! But she's mastered peeing on the pad! She's really really really cute.....but needs constant attention!

mini Pins can shed...it depends on the blood line....Pugs shed like crazy! Shih-tzu's do not shed & can look totally different if you let the hair grow or give it a puppy cut.
Also Chinese cresteds do not shed......but they are an aquired taste.....

LMAO.... I am all about ugly dogs..... I have a mini pin, a pug & a japanese chin I really want a chinese crested, but DH will not let me spend $1500 for that dog

Seriously, I do love a Shih-tzu.....my grandfather has one & he keeps it in a puppy cut & it is so cute. He has really serious respiratory issues, and that is the brees the doc recommended.

My dad has a pug (he's in my avatar pic). He is super hyper and does shed quite a bit. But he's so adorable. I used to have a shih tzu when I was younger. You have to be careful, make sure you go to a repitable (sp?) breeder. My dog had to be put to sleep, he was very crazy. Attacked my whole family and many friends. I think he may have been inbred or something cause he was just so vicious and I have never heard anyone else say that about these dogs. good luck!

yorkies , poodles and maltese do not shed I have a yorkie and we used to have a mini poodle
