Fill in the blank after Why is it __________

I'm bored so i decided to start this up.

Fill in the blank with whatever is bothering you wedding related or not.

Why is it that people(close family) who haven't given a red cent towards the wedding of their son but want to invite extra guests, want to know the prices of everything that FH and i are getting and even as far as saying that we should get DJ upgrades but haven't offered to put up the cash.

Why is it that kids who live three blocks from school can't make it here for an early orchestra rehearsal, while I'm busting my @ss to get here by 6:45 am from Islip?

As you can tell, my gripes are usually more work related than wedding related.

Why is it that people who see that FH and I are truly happy feel the need to ruin our happiness out of jealousy just because they are bored???

Why is it that if I make FH happy, and we truly love each other, that you can't be happy for him and respect the BOTH of us?

lol Yea because lastnight we went to a showcase at Dante's for Ultimate Sound and they had a light show, your name in lights, smoke, plasma tv's the whole nine and he told his mom so she's like oh you should get that. So i got so pissed and said out loud while he was on the phone WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT!! lol..

Why is it DAD that you insist on commenting while watching Father of the Bride on TV that how nice it is to see the bm dresses all in one color and matching and how it looks so elegant and how everyone should do the same(my BM's are having different color dresses but all related with the theme) BUT then when I say 'oh look dad how nice is it to see the Father of the Bride footing the entire wedding' he get all pissed off... Please stop commenting when you are not giving us anything towards this and getting angry when I say something back to you.... leave me alone...

Why is it that people call me telling me that they cant do something because its too hard/frustrating but then i go and do it within 5 seconds with no issues. Am I wonderwoman? Do I have magical powers?

Why is it that when I asked the seamstress to just let out the bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding a little bit, they decided to make the bodice smaller, so now I can't breathe. My blue face from lack of oxygen should look lovely with the teal dress.

Why is it that the guy who is waiting for the elevator with me needs to go from the first floor to the second floor and INSISTS on taking the elevator?? Dude, you are carrying yogurt and granola bar and look to be in good shape, take the freakin stairs! Im running late and need to get to the 5th floor!!
