So Yesterday was my FH birthday!! So i threw him a suprise party at our house! I had 25 people rsvp, including one of his groomsman and his so called best man 'former' as of yesterday.
Well last nite 8 people showed up, all my family my sister and her husband, my parents, my aunt and uncle and one of my FH friends that lives in albany, everyone else had an excuse on why they couldnt come last minute!!! and his 'best man ' never called or texted to say that he wasnt coming or even happy birthday. I bought so much food and no one came it just comes to show that all you have is your family!! and who your true friends are!!
Sorry so mad needed to vent!!

Awww..I'm soo sorry. Some people really need a swift kick in the ... yeah. LOL. Is your FH going to talk to any of the guys?

I'm sorry about that. People can be inconsiderate and I've learned that recently.
people can be so rude... My issue yesterday was that last week i invited a bunch of people over for the superbowl...6 people rsvp yes then all of a sudden 20 showed up! its like..thanks for telling me!

My Fh called his groomsman and he was very apologetic saying he had a family emergency which i can understand he is figuring out how to word the email to his former best man!! they have grown apart and this is not the first time this is the 3rd year in a row he has done this!!

I am SOOOOOOOOO sorry this happened to you. I have learned recenty, especially whrn you're planning a wedding who your true friends are, and people's true colors it's sad beccause people who you thought would be there for you, espceially FH's best man turn out to not be the people you thought they were, I just hope everything works out and you find a best man who really is the best...

this is exactly why i cut off ALLL parties.
no more halloween,bdays(especially), bbqs and superbowl parties. im DONE.
yesterday was the 1st time we didnt host a superbowl party in YEARS.
did any1 bother inviting us anywhere?? NOPE.
im so done being the sucker.
you will eventually realize(if u havent already) that ppl can be such inconsiderate classes fks.
dont waste ur time. ur better off spending the money u spent on the party.. on fh and u at a spa or a fancy dinner.

That is terrible that they did that It is amazing to me sometimes how inconsiderate people can be. Fine, if something comes up and you absolutely cannot make it, at least have the decency to call about it

Oh I'm soo sorry! THat stinks! Unforuntaely this sometimes happens and it's not very nice. Hopefully next birthday will be better. Did you ask anyone why they didn't come? I would.. I would make them feel bad for it too. If someone say yes and didn't show or contact you.. that's just rude.

This was funny for me to read.. beacuse I feel the same way! I am ALWAYS the one hosting parties and I end up doing soooo much work.. cleaning before, cleaning afterwards (what a mess they leave for me), spending soo much money. So I decided NO MORE PARTIES until at least 2010. FH and one of the GM decided to do a party.. I told them ok.. but I am doing nothing.. so figure it out. The GM actually worked out a plan with all the guests to have them each bring something.. and he told everyone they have to clean too. So yesterday was the FIRST party we ever had where I did nothing and it was sooo wonderful! I got to relax and really enjoy myself. Usually I'm sooo dead tired and running around like a nut doing everything all by myself. I can't even begin to tell you the difference. He even asked if he hosted can he throw another party at my place.. I had to say yes. (He can't do his place because he has 2 dogs and one is a HUGE puppy and not well bahaved at all!).

but im totally done.. nye was IT! we were to go out to dinner..just fh and i.. come home and watch amovie...
well his friends called asking what we were doing(since we always have anye party)... and he said nothing... they were like oh were not doing anythign either...
so fh being the pushover s*cker said ok come over..
so yepp.. they came.. pregamed and left aroudn 10:30 to go out..
were we invited? nope! at least my bff was there with her husband. those are the only 2 humans we know.
