Sooo I've been waiting to ask my girls to be BM b/c I didn't want to ask toooo early! But I finally sent out my little cards (as did FH) and everyone is so excited! It is nice to finally share it with them and they are all that much more excited now

Did you guys have custom cards made? Where did you get them? When my time comes i think i want to have my girls over and give them the cards and ask them that way and then have some wine and what not =)

I took my girls out for 1 hr foot massages last weekend. I had them all meet me in the shopping center parking lot but did not tell them where we were going. I made little gift bags with Bridesmaid champagne flutes. When they all arrived I had a nice little speach prepared and formally asked them to stand beside me. When they said yes, they all got a gift bag and then I told them about the foot massages. We all had a great time and I think they enjoyed the special time we had. I thought of it as a small investment to ask them to do a lot for me! Being a bridesmaid isn't cheap!

I made all my girls personalized shot glasses and then made a card that asked them 'to take a shot at being my bridesmaid', they all loved them. Pics are in my album.

I had a vendor from ETSY make personalized cards for each girl in my BP. Pics are in my album. I gave them those and a little gift in person except for my out of state girls that I mailed them to.

I bought notecards from Kate Spade with a navy and fuschia flower design to ask them all.
I also had personalized luggage tags made for each of my girls from OfTheFountain on Etsy. Half my girls will be traveling so I thought it would be cute! It says:
Name Bridesmaid Tommy & Jennie's Wedding <3 April 13, 2012 <3
I should get them next week, I can't wait to send them out!
