called late yesterday afternoon and now I'm just waiting on the decan to call me back so nervous!

There is nothing to be nervous about. Although I was a little nervous bc I thought the building would fall down on me. Which church are you getting married at?

Crashing - lol, because I feel very emotionally invested in your wedding now.

That church is gorgeous. A friend of mine got married there earlier this year and her pics are awesome. I'm sure it'll all work out. Don't be nervous!

Don't be nervous! I am not the most religious person myself, but FH went to Catholic school for many years and that is the church we are getting married in. I was nervous for the first meeting as well and nothing religious was brought up. We were just asked if we wanted a ceremony or a mass and we chose ceremony because its a Friday afternoon. The steps we have gone through so far have not been religious, its more about preparing us for married life.

FH and I booked our date at St. Kilian's this past spring and I was super nervous. So far that was the thing I was most nervous about, FH thought I was nuts for being that nervous. The decon or preist is just going to want to sit down with u check their availability and get to know you as a couple. Our Decon also went over the 'rules' that have to be followed ( cant throw rice,only one best and maid of honor allowed, where the photographer can and can't go etc...) it really wasn't bad at all! Good luck!!
