Finally...Dress shopping day

Hello Ladies... tomorrow is the day - going for my first look at bridal dresses I wanted to start with stores I didn't need to make appointments for so I am going to Estelle's Dressy Dresses and Bridal outlet since they are 5 min apart... I am slightly nervous because over the last 3 yrs I have gained 40lbs that I MUST loose because I am so not comfortable this way- it's not the body I am used to...

Any advise for not crying hysterically because when I get frustrated I cry and I am normally frustrated trying on clothes..

Just remember, it's supposed to be FUN! And just keep reminding yourself that you're going to lose it and just try really hard not to stress and just enjoy it. I'm going Tuesday for the first time! Can't wait!

Have fun! You're probably going to cry. I did when I put on the first dress. I wasn't sad just felt so surreal lol. Afterwards I was fine and just did process of elimination. I Then I cried again when I finally found my dress. Most important thing is to HAVE FUN and ENJOY these moments! Good luck Hun. Take pictures if you can. Hope you find the dress of your dreams.

I worked out 6 days a week and ate really clean for the most part- only had 1 cheat meal a week
I did T25 it was expensive like $120 for the dvds
i cut out salt and any seasoning with salt in them , stayed away from white flour stuff - no white bread but i ate red potatoes . good carbs i had a meal plan for guidance . i could send you girls if u want

Your dress can always be taken in so don't get upset if you have to order a larger size than you are used to! They aren't true to regular sizes anyway-you can lose the weight and WILL once you put your mind to it. I just got back on the weight loss train and really hope I can do it again (after a bunch of steroids for an illness, I gained 30 pounds and was able lose it in about 9 months.) I am now hoping to lose at least another 15 :)

Check out Helen's in Commack, ask for Ashley; she was amazing. They have quite a selection of dresses but really make you feel comfortable regardless of size!
