awesome!
you know that we're doing a really personal form of precana with our minister & i can't tell you enough how great it is for us, obviously you won't have to read scripture for a long time, but reading the bible together is something i wish he & i had done years ago, you guys will enjoy it (hopefully )

well i am looking forward to focusing on the relationship aspect, the other parts eh

babe all the 'other' parts are connected, you'll see, i think you will like it more than you think

i dont know how much im gonna like them telling me i HAVE to sign a paper that says i will baptize my kids catholic lol.

That is a requirement that you agree to this. We were asked that question before our priest even agreed to marry us! Just look at it this way, you can always change your mind later

I am with you 100% on that one! I don't believe in organized religion for myself personally, but I was raised in the church so I feel like a big fat hypocrite when it comes to this stuff. My family who knows my beliefs keeps reminding me how nice a church ceremony is whenever I complain about it.

I'm doing the protestant version of pre-cana....i don't think it's as formal, but it's the same concept. I keep putting it off hahaha. i'm kind of nervous about it actually...like the questions we may get asked.

My officiant is my childhood pastor, so i'm kind of like, i hope she doesn't ask anything too personal!

yeah for LI seems its harder, you have to wait for your church to do it...for queens and brooklyn we do it when we want, where we want

You don't necessarily have to wait. You can go right through the Diocese, but it costs money. I think in most parishes its free if you go right through them.
